Investigation Suspended – Child Molestation
Client going through a contentious divorce accused of Child Molestation. Mr. Acuff took time to understand the entire case and background, did his own investigation and research, communicated with the Lead Detective, and helped the law enforcement understand these were false allegations – no warrants taken, case suspended.

Investigation Suspended – Rape
Client met a person through an adult dating site. After a consensual sexual encounter, the client received a call from a detective requesting a formal interview based on an allegation of Rape. Mr. Acuff helped the client understand his rights, investigated the complainant, provided a statement to law enforcement on behalf of his client, and the investigation was suspended for lack of credibility and evidence.

Investigation Suspended – Theft
Client accused of stealing money from a company. Mr. Acuff reviewed all available documentation, communicated with law enforcement and the company, and helped resolve the matter without any criminal charges taken.

Case Dismissed – Battery
Client arrested for battery after an altercation with a customer at the restaurant where the client worked. The police did not speak to store employees who witnessed the customer as the primary aggressor. Mr. Acuff gathered their statements, challenged the credibility of the complainants story, and convinced the prosecutor to dismiss the case.

DUI Reduced – 0.31 BAC
Client involved in a single car accident after losing control of his vehicle. Police responded and a subsequent DUI investigation resulted in a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) of 0.31 – nearly 4 times the legal limit. By challenging the investigation and assisting the client with proactive measures, Mr. Acuff convinced the State to reduce the charges to a non-DUI offense that can be expunged.
